SECRET SANTA

I am very naughty, as my Secret Santa gift is a a few days late.
It it however, now in the mail, so I apologies in advance "Secret Santa" receiver!!!!

It has been a very hectic week at work, and I have had some terrible news about two different clients who have passed away this - both of whom were still young - in their 40's. So sewing was not a priority this week!!!

ANGEL'S PRESSIES ARE IN

I have just received my last gift from my Angel - Tine in Denmark. I was very excited to arrive home and receive a box on Friday.

First I openend and it was a Cookie Tin - where from - Denmark of course . I thought it was full of cookies, but instead, some lovely gifts.

A lovely bag to store my sewing goodies, some braids for decorating, and a couple of gorgeous little "house" buttons, button tin and some Denmark made Sugar and chocolate coate almonds.

Thank you Angel - it was such joy to open and at the same time very exciting, as this is the first time I have received anything from someone whom I dont know. It was evern more exciting, as my angel didnt have a blog, so I really did not know much about her. I have now learnt that my Angel is one of the Administrators for an Orchestra in Denmark, so it was great to learn something about her. I hope that she will start a blog soon, so that I can keep in touch.

and who would have thought that there was a "Harrods" at the Airport

<
Of course we just had to make a bee line for it

and more pics - this time of the great Malaysian food - we even manged a hands on cooking with the locals - here are some pics of our teachers

SHOP-O-HOLIC IS BACK!!!!!

aah............there is nothing like a bit of retail therapy with a girlfried!!
That has been me for the past 10 days when we left the boys at home and took off to Kula Lumper. Unfortunately, there wasnt much sewing done, and now with not being able to take needles or scissors on the aircraft, there is much airport sewing that one cannot do these days.

We had some great experiences - the first - was the "new" idea of the "fish feeding frenzy" - yes yuk, but my girlfriend had got so much mileage about telling everyone else that she was going to do this, that I had to make sure it happened!!! Into the Health Salon we went, and she then said that she would have a pedicure instead, however, I wasnt going to let her get out of this new idea of fish feeding on skin.
Close your eyes if you dont want to view, but surprisingly, the fish were very little - so many of them. Cost was around AUD$16.00 and included a head and shoulder massage - money well spent.

Next the Food Markets/China Town/Muffins the size of soft drink Cans/Lots of great shopping centres. Here are a few pics if you are interested.
