THANK YOU CHOOKYBLUE - NOW I CAN UPLOAD PICS QUICKLY

THANK YOU CHOOKYBLUE - she is a wizz on uploading pics for blogging.
A Big thank you to Chookyblue. I have always frustrated about not being able to upload more than a few pics at one time, and even when I do it takes around 5 minutes per pic. I remember reading a post that Chookyblue had written a few months back about this, so thought I would try it. WOW I was amazed at how much simpler not to mention QUICKER it was. Yes I am Internet savvy, but not Blog savvy and not having even met one blogger, have never really got my head around this uploading picture thing.

anway the next step was to try and work out HOW on earth you all put your WORDS in between your pictures. This is something that I have NEVER been able to do, so more or less gave up - that was until Chookyblue saved the day. After driving her nuts with "what next" she told me very simply that my "Inbox" on my blogger was set at the Html address instead of "Compose". Such a simple thing, but when there is no one to ask it is very frustrating, so we just walk away.

Hopefully for someone out there other than all you clever ones, this may also help you. If you dont upload your pics via email, then give it a go. Have a look at the great post the Chooky wrote up.

Now I WILL have more time for sewing and hopefully more posts.

NEW FABRIC AND PATTERNS

It is always a delight to buy some new fresh fabric. I have purchased some new goodies from Sarah at Patchwork plus from her new online shop and they have arrived today. Just love the Figgy Pudding Christmas jelly roll. Even the Moda Scrap bag - is a full jelly roll, such great value.... and some patterns for inspiration. Cant wait to whip something up.

PROGRESSION OF THE QUILT

Oh yes, the exciting part - putting it all together. Always love when I have done all the preliminaries and finished the stitching, and cant wait to put it all together. This is the progression of my version of Rosalie Quinlan's Patchwork Village quilt:
Firstly - the soaking of the new fabric
Next the ironing to make all nice and neat
then the fun part begins - piecing all together.
