I was very frustrated a few weeks ago when I was caught unawares of flood water that came from no where. - I live only 10 minutes drive from work, and it took over 4 hours to get home by the time the water subsided. Stranded - it was pretty terrifying not knowing how far the water was going to come up and not being able to get home. It was even more frustrating know that I have no stitchery to do whilst I just had to wait around.

My friend lives in Coffs Harbour and she said that she lived 10 mins away and had to wade through thigh high water to get home. The rain was certainly very quick and left its mark.

Oh my gosh how scary is that! So glad the water went down!
So glad you didn't get washed away. Coffs has certainly copped more than it's share of rain this year!!
