Update on "Scandinavian Christmas" project - Block One - completed


First is was the applique and the stitchery

Next is was the putting together the "Churn Dashes"
these ones were "very tricky" as the finished square needs to be exact,
otherwise it is way too big to fit on the stitchery
I found out the hard way - (ended up doing them twice to get the "exact" 1/4" seam) no shortcuts with these little guys!!!!


and of course when it all fits toether nicely, we forgot the pain we went through to get it right!!!!



                    Well - I have have great fun putting this one together.  One down  - three to go.
