GARDERNERS JOURNAL - PROGRESS- BLOCK 1

Ok today was the day to try and get my first block done for the GJ Journey in the "Stitch-a'Long:"

Seeing that I had finished doing the first couple of stitcheries, and I havent
looked at this for the past few months, I was so plesaed to see that I must have been in such an orgnisaed mood when I first signed up.  I was pleased to find all the pieces already pre-cut.

So it was just matter of laying them all out to get the general look

..... then just sewing them all together to get number one completed block.

Yipeed, now it is on to the 2nd block will post as soon as I have that together, but hopefully it wont take a couple of months like this one did.

I am too easily side tracked - is great to have ouer Stitcher's ou there for the inspiration.

I will have to get the reward as the "last starter".  This is block one of the Gardener's Journal of the "Stitch-along" that I am participating in.    I guess better late than never.

Looks great Dawnie - always good to have the fabric cut out as it was so time consuming. I have done the first two blocks but I am procrastinating on the third. Kylie xxx

Nice block! Isn't it wonderful to return to a project to find you'd done the cutting? It's my least favorite part of the process.

That's great Dawnie! What a bonus to find that the fabrics were all cut and waiting for you. Good luck with number 2.
