ENJOYING BEING A A TOURIST - THIS POST NOT STITCHING RELATED

but I thought i would do a post anyway....

It is always nice to see life overseas, but even nicer to return home.

We saw lots of lovely sights, and here are a few of them:

HONG KONG:

Still offering some slow paced transport, however, their Train/bus/ferry and train system is amazingly organised, quick and efficient and cheap.

Enjoyng the different trams on offer:

Enjoying the joyful artworks about this fabulous island at Causeway bay.

and look at this one
all made from Baby Teats:

The old Hong Kong on the Kowloon side with many shops, markets etc.

and lots of many new shopping Centres on the Island side.
The escalators here are amazing and go up two levels at a time - hubby thought that was great as it meant one floor he didnt have to look at!!!!

SINGAPORE:

Another amazing city - so clean, pretty and fabulous shopping.
these are just a few pics at Clark quay

We went to Singapore last year and we also throughly enjoyed it. Glad you did too. I've never been to Hong Kong. It is good to hear what other people think. As for the transport - couldn't we learn a lot- particularly here in Brisbane.

I LOVE the rackety trams in HK and just about everything in Singapore (esp the waterfront). We've travelled to both places twice in the past couple of years; not sure which is my favourite. Glad you had such a great time, Dawnie - how could you not...
