Travelling - not Stitching!!!!!!! South America!!!!

I have just returned from the most a m a z i n g trip ever!!!!
South America!!!!!
Wow it has been an experience  so thought I would share a few pics.
Many were taken, these are just a few of the best spots.

Sewing - has been on hold for the past few weeks, but now that I am back,
I will ge to get back ono track!!!!

RIO:

 Sugarloaf Mountain
 Copacabana
 IGUZAU FALLS - BRAZIL SIDE:
 This was such am a m a z i n g sight!!!!!

I've always loved these birds, yet didnt think I would have the opportunity to pat one!!!!

BRAZIL/ARGENTINA/PARAGUY - all in the one pic!!!!!
 IGUAZI - ARGENTINE SIDE:
These falls just blew me away - (and I thought Niagara was good!!!!)
 BUENOS AIRES:
 A city full Tango dancing
Doing a bit of shoping in the San Telmo region.
And "Stitching" always on the agenda.
I came across these gorgeous scissors from one of the antique dealers.
I couldnt leave them sitting there so they cam home with me.
 EL CALAFATE - PATAGONIA REGION:
Truely the most spectacular sight.

 Such excitement and picture perfect.
The famous Perito Mereno Glacier - over 40 metres high.
Wow this was such a sight and jaw dropping to see!!

 EL CALAFATE - PATAGONIA:
A border crossing in  middle of no where - Argentina/Chile!!!!!
Some wildlife - pronounced "wanako" but spelt different.

TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK - PATAGONIA!!!!
The broken pieces of glaciers were just so spectacular.
and a quick pic with some ice before we continued our hiking.
Lots of hiking in this region and temperatures at minus 3!!!
 More hiking and spectacular views
The fabulous lodge where we stayed - Hotel Chico.
They organised hikes for us each day and he guides did a great job slowing down
for us unfit ones.!!!

SANTIAGO:
A cancelled flight meant an overnight in Santiago.
We did some city sights and saw the Funicular which took us to the top to overlook
some great views.
and at last - a  "Lama"
Now it is back to the real world and time to get stuck back into that needle and cotton.
