I made a start too, washed my batting and sewed my backing together. tomorrow i'll be sandwiching my Angel Story together to start hand quilting. I think it has been a flimsy for too long, about time I finished it. US trip was so much fun, loved New York and Quilt Market in Pittsburgh and had a ball in Ohio. Overall we visited 8 states so that leaves many more to see next time.
