Inspiration for another Quilt - Gardener's Journal

How easily it is to get sidetracked.  Chookyblue  suggested a "sew along" with one of Anni Down's patterns - this patern I have loved for so long having and having seen it finished by another Quilter at GDITH  recently, it is the perfect opporutnity to inspire one another.
Mind you, I had intended to visit the local patchwork shop something completely different and a completely different project.....

It was the Japanese fabric that I went in to purchase.....
The patchwork shops must so laugh at us mad stitching women as they must see it happen all the time.

Love the colours you have chosen! That is what is holding me back from joining in- no good at picking out a whole bunch of random fabrics! now if i could just find me a kit somewhere......LOL

Love the fabrics you've chosen...all the different fabric combinations are going to make for a great display of finished quilts. I'm looking forward to stitching-a-long with everyone.
