PINCUSION SWAP

I participated in a Pincusion swap with Jeannet from in the Netherlands.Who would have thought that I could have had a swap partner that I knew - Chookyblue...
so off I went busily sewing thinking it was great to be making for someone I knew .

Can you belive the shock I got when I also received a parcel from Chookyblue - this co-incided with my birthday, so I thought it could have been something else,... until I received an email from her to say  "Ring me now" - I then learnt that it was SHE  who was my swap partner.  How funny is that -   I was the most surprised as whom I had made for had also made for me.
What a lovely surprise when I opened her pressie.  It was  this gorgeous lamb pincusion  and in felt - my favourite medium.  This is a pincusion that I have wanted for ages - just perfect and still "Country".
Thanks Chookyblue
and I also received some lovely Cards & notepad -  especially made by Chookyblue with her awesome photos that she takes.

This is the Pincusion that I made for Chookyblue.

A great fun swap.
Thank you Jeannet for organising it.

Very cute pin cushion design of the bee hive, I'm currently trying to design a bee themed quilt myself.

I took part in a bee block swap, and now time to put the hive together.

Your sheep pin cushion that your received is also very cute. Enjoy!

Both pincushions are so great! Well done! I organised a reciprocal swap a few years ago for our local group and I didn't tell ANYONE. Imagine their surprise when they opened their gifts at our Christmas function that year - wish I'd had the camera at the ready ☺
