GIRLS DAY IN THE COUNTRY - PART I

Every year there is a group of bloggers that meet up in Nundle for their weekend "stitch - a - way" which is organised by Kerry.

It normally starts pre "stitch day" with lunch, then Show and Tell in the afternoon.
Nothing like having a catch up in a relaxing environment.

Sandi/ Suzie (aka Kate's quilt)/Janice showing their versions of Anni Downs
"Some Kind of Wonderful".

these little hexies - all joined - very effective

Sandi with one of her masterpieces
and Deb with her own Creation
 .. and another
Dzintra with the real live version of the bag on her blog

some of the girls having a great catch up
the real live version of Peg n Dale!!
and these swings deserved a pic... can you see that frames are actually Knitting Needles
just to remind everyone where they were - Nundle, near the "knitting mills".
and some more familiar faces out to Dinner - having the yearly catch up
and more again
some amazing girls.

This was the finished version of the quilt for Chookyblues - "Caring for Quilts" donation
that Suzie and I put together
