Happy New Year 2015!!!!

Long over due for a Post, I thought I would welcome 2015 and get back to Blogworld.

I hope you have all had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year and hope that 2015 will be a good year.

Just reflecting on some of things I have done in 2014 and havent yet posted I thought I would post some pics to prove that I really have been stitching throughout!!!

In fact all my spare minutes are spent stitching.
Doing a BOM which restricts posts has kept me quiet in blogland in 2014.

so..... for the things that got me sidetracked on the way!:'

Pincushions have been my distraction!!!!

This was a little cat one that I have been itching to do for a while now.

then was this little number I picked up in the "scrap" pile:

so... with a little bit of Japanese influenced diversion I "dawnified" it:

and then.... I had this one from Hatched and Patched and Sydney Craft show a few years back.
It has been sitting in my sewing room for sooo long even with the hexies waiting for to be stitched.. but epp not my favourite choice, it got waylaid.  Anyway turtle was ever so pleased when I got him together and said..... it's about time!!!

and then there was :

a little sewing kit

and next some Santa Stitching :

and also this little Hatched and Patched pattern just in time for Christmas

Well that wraps up the past 4 months of stitching that I havent posted
except of course the BOM that has been in progress.

Now off I go to find the next project....
I wonder what it is going to be????

I think you have been too busy sewing to blog. Great little pincushions, and all so different. Definite Japanese influence in all your projects. Happy sewing.

Love all your distractions, particularly the 'make over' one. I don't have any of those textured Japanese fabrics in stash, but I do keep walking very slowly past them. They are very touchy feely fabrics in beautiful muted colours.

I think you found something to fill in you can fill you time in with now.........lol........glad your joining the new SAL.......
